Texas, Penn State, Kentucky, Florida, USC, Oregon, Georgia, Tennessee, and Cincinnati were the other nine teams on the list. Peters is a 4-star recruit according to both ESPN and 247 Sports. 247 has him listed as the No. 9 player in the state of Ohio. This guy possesses a lot of speed and it shows on film. His speed allows him to play sideline to sideline as well as chase down players that have broken free.
The 6’4″ 218-pounder is listed as an outside linebacker, but he lines up at middle linebacker for Middletown High school in Middletown, Ohio. At this position, he is able to show off his high football IQ . He has already mastered the technique of zone coverage, which makes him able to defend the pass with great skill.
He is also pretty effective against the run. He plugs up holes and make sure that the runner feels him. He is also one of those guys that have developed the technique of breaking down when approaching a runner and focusing on their hip region before diving in for the attack. That technique makes it very hard for runners to get free using juke moves.
Alabama could have their fifth 2018 commit with a commitment from Peters. There should be no doubt that Alabama could land some big names this offseason.
