Neither ESPN nor 247 Sports has Nester ranked among the 2019 recruiting class.
Nester is a big guy that possesses great footwork. He is able to pull and lead block for runners with incredible skill. His ability to open up holes is simply incredible.
Having a great Offensive Tackle is a huge plus for any team. Alabama has had its fair share of great offensive tackles over the years. Cam Robinson, Andre Smith and Dominick Jackson are just a few. Alabama’s Jonah Williams looks to be well on his way to becoming another Alabama great.
The 6’5″ 295-pounder could come in and make an early impact for the Tide if he chooses to commit to Alabama over the many great schools that have already Offered. Alabama’s coaching staff is known for letting the best players play no matter how young they are.
Nester is just a rising junior and still has plenty of more time to develop. He will only get better and more teams will start to offer.
SEC schools Kentucky, Florida, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Ole Miss have already offered him.
Alabama is going to have to go into West Virginia’s backyard to Huntington, West Virginia to get this commit. This could be a challenge, but Alabama is use to overcoming barriers.
