According to Sporting News, junior wide receiver, Robert Foster, was riding his dirt bike around the parking lot outside of the Mal M. Moore Athletic Facility when a car struck him. He reportedly required 29 stitches in all: 27 on his back and two on his wrist.
Despite having just a minimal impact on the offense last season, Foster is expected to be a top notch producer for Brian Daboll in the 2017 season. He showed off his speed in Alabama’s A-Day game back in April, hauling in two catches for 115 yards and a score.
There has been no official report on his status, or on if he is expected to miss any time this summer. However, he was able to post a video to his Facebook page after the accident took place. In the video, he tries to motivate his fans, saying “this is my year, I’m not giving up on nothing.”
Stay tuned into Touchdown Alabama Magazine for the latest updates on Foster’s condition.
We wish you a speedy recovery, #1.
