Alabama DB Deionte Thompson learning under Minkah Fitzpatrick at safety

While he wants to line up as a true outside cornerback, Minkah Fitzpatrick will enter his third season with the same mindset: doing what it takes to help Alabama win. Between his versatility and where the Crimson Tide’s coaching staff feels most comfortable playing him, the New Jersey native could be shifted a lot from safety to corner – depending on the situation in games this fall.
