Several Tide players encountered healthy weight gains this offseason

He’s known for a famous remark on CBS’ 60 Minutes a few years ago, but at the heart of Alabama football’s strength and conditioning coach Scott Cochran, he prides himself on making sure the Crimson Tide’s student-athletes are properly prepared physically to handle the gridiron.

While three players will join head coach Nick Saban in Hoover, Ala., for Wednesday’s edition of Southeastern Conference Media Days, Cochran has been at the Tide’s players facility get guys in shape for the upcoming season.
