Tuscaloosa, AL — We have learned that senior defensive end Da’Shawn Hand was spotted on the downtown strip around 2:00 am this morning drinking as it was posted on his SnapChat. Shortly after, Hand was arrested by Tuscaloosa PD and booked on DUI charges.
Hand is expected to be the anchor on a defensive line which lost Lombardi and Bednarik Award winner Jonathan Allen, as well as Dalvin Tomlinson.
It is not known whether Hand will be suspended for the highly anticipated first game contest against the Florida State Seminoles.
