During rookie minicamp and organized team activities (OTAs), New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles raved about ArDarius Stewart’s toughness and fight in competition for the football.
After selecting him in the third round of this year’s NFL Draft, the former high school quarterback and University of Alabama standout looked good in tonight’s preseason game against the Giants. Stewart finished second in receiving yards (82), while leading the team with five catches and securing two touchdowns – including a 25-yard score.

Hailing from Fultondale, Ala., Stewart added more energy to the Crimson Tide’s offensive attack in the last two seasons.
He led the team in receiving yards (864) and touchdowns (eight), despite falling second in reception with 54.
