A torn bicep may have knocked him out for the remainder of the season, but Alabama outside linebacker Christian Miller is preparing for a major comeback.
The Columbia, S.C., native delivered a message to all the Crimson Tide fans and others that supported him with prayers and encouraging words. For Miller, the road to recovery starts now.

“I just want to let you all know that I had a successful surgery,” Miller said. “Thank you so much for all the prayers and well wishes; it meant so much to me. Roll Tide.”
Miller, a five-star recruit, sustained the injury during the Crimson Tide’s physical matchup last week versus Florida State at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. He would be listed as ‘very questionable’ per head coach Nick Saban, prior to the news on the seriousness of the mishap.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder was a starter at strong-side backer going into the contest.
He totaled three tackles in a 24-7 victory over the Seminoles, but he’ll return next season with all focus on snatching back the projected monster year that was taken away.
