The Crimson Tide were in the mix before Anderson decided to Committ to the Longhorns. Anderson confirmed that his decision had nothing to do with Texas; he just wanted to weigh out his options.
Tuscaloosa could be the next stop for Anderson. There is a chance that he can flourish under Alabama offensive coordinator, Brian Daboll. Although, The Crimson Tide have not used their tight ends that much this season; there have been signs of Daboll getting the tight ends involved more and more in the passing game.
Alabama is currently in the mix for another great tight end in the 2018 recruiting class, Luke Ford. A commitment from Anderson could possibly workout perfect for The Crimson Tide if Ford decides to commit to Georgia. Ford has expressed that he will like to play with the No. 1 player in the nation and Georgia commit, Justin Fields.
It is quite easy to see why Anderson will be a huge get for Alabama. He is a monster on the field that use his wide body frame to cause havoc. He has plenty of speed and plays with a level of toughness that jumps out in his highlight videos.
