Tennessee’s 2018 recruiting class is currently the highest ranking SEC class according to ESPN, 247 Sports and Scout. The departure of Butch Jones could help The Crimson Tide’s 2018 recruiting class as some Tennesse commits were considering Alabama before they made their decision.
Alabama has received some good news from Alontae Taylor. He decommitted from Tennessee today and announced his new top 5 which included Alabama.

Taylor is one of the top wide receiver in the 2018 recruiting class. He is an ESPN 300 recruit and is ranked as the No. 2 wide out according to ESPN.
Tennessee commit, Jayce Horn, could also flip his commitment. His recruitment was once down to South Carolina and Alabama before Tennesse jumped back in the chase.
Alabama commit, Skylar Delong, was once committed to Tennessee before he flip to Alabama. The Tide may receive some more good recruiting news from this development.
