The AHSAA football playoffs is in full swing and Alabama commit, Jalyn Armour-Davis, showed everyone that he is able to be a force in every facet of the game.

Davis affected the game in pretty much anyway that you can imagine. He was a force in the passing game, special teams and on the ground. He fueled his team to a victory over the defending 5A State Champions, Beauregard.

The St. Paul defensive back made his impact early with his arm. He was able to throw a 66-yard pass off of a trick play to draw first blood. St. Paul completely control the game throughout the first half and Davis was able to help push their lead to 21 with a big kickoff return and a 22-yard rush that set up a touchdown.

The Mobile native was not done at the conclusion of the first half. He continued his contribution in the third quarter with a huge kickoff return after Beauregard cut into the lead with a touchdown. This play set up a touchdown that gave his team a commanding lead.

Davis was able to show that he is a multi talented athlete on the football field. He committed to Alabama as a defensive back, but could be seen at many other positions when he comes to The Capstone.
