Trey Sanders Decommits From Alabama.

Alabama’s 2019 recruiting class was shaping up to be an outstanding one with 5-Star RB, Trey Sanders, leading the way. Unfortunately, Sanders has decided to decommit from Alabama and explore his options.

Sanders did state that Alabama will continue to be one of his top schools.

The IMG Academy product is the No. 1 running back in the 2019 recruiting class. With his commitment, there was considerably less pressure on the Tide to land a running back in the 2018 recruiting class. Of course, There is still plenty of time for Alabama to land a top RB in both classes.

Early Commitments always come with a high chance of a flip. Most recruits continue to stay in contact with other schools and take official visits after they commit. It is just part of the recruiting business.

The RB position seems to be a bit of a  challenge for the Tide to recruit at the moment because of their depth at the position, but things should eventually shake out. It will be interesting to see what happens at the position in the future.
