Alabama’s main focus, as far as recruiting is concern, is bringing in some of the top talent to filled its 2019 recruiting class, but that does not stop their coaching staff from recruiting players outside of the 2019 recruiting cycle. The Crimson Tide currently has two verbal commitments from players in the 2020 class. Here is some information you need to know about the both of them.

Javier Morton

Morton is a 4-Star CB out of Stone Mountain, Georgia. He stands at 6-feet-1-inches and weighs 175 pounds. He has great ball judgement skills and a slender frame that enables him to leap into the air and fight for these 50/50 balls. He is not extremely fast, but has the potential to make an impact in a zone coverage defense, which is what he currently plays in most of the time. The Georgia-native will continue to improve as he is only a sophomore.  He gave Alabama a verbal commitment on Dec. 1.

Jackson Bratton

Bratton is a 4-Star ILB out of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He has great size for the linebacker position at 6-feet-3-inches and 215 pounds. He will continue to fill out his frame during his last two seasons of high school football.  Bratton knows how to anchor a defense and be a leader. He is very vocal and knows how to communicate with his teammates. One of his biggest tools is his tackling ability. He knows how to lower the boom and make ball carriers remember him for the rest of the night. He gave Alabama a verbal commitment on Saturday.
