BREAKING: Antonio Alfano Chooses The Tide

Antonio Alfano has officially announced his verbal commitment to the University of Alabama.

Alfano chose the Tide over Georgia and Penn State. He is Alabama’s 13th commit in the 2019 recruiting class and their third commit this month. With Alfono’s commitment, Alabama now has a total of four defensive linemen commits.

The Colonial High school product is the No.1 player in the state of New Jersey. He is a 4-star recruit and is ranked as No. 100 in the ESPN 300.

Alabama is getting a good one in this New Jersey-native. He is an efficient tackler and has experience playing on the offensive line as well. This guy is most definitely a hand full at 6-feet-4-inches and 285 pounds.  He has the ability to set the edge and is very technically sound. The most impressive thing about him is the way that he can recognize where a play is going early and attack. He rarely judges a play wrong and outrun a potential tackle.

Nick Saban and company will, of course, have to develop this guy to play in the trenches of the SEC, which is something that Alabama has made a top priority.  It is going to be interesting to see how Alfano develops under the process.
