2019 4-Star TE, Ethan Rae, released a top 10 on last week and included the Tide.

Rae included the Tide in belief that they will give him the opportunity to play at the top level of college football.
“I will be competing for a national championship every year,” Rae said.
The California-native is a 4-Star recruit and is ranked as the No. 7 TE in the nation. Alabama only landed one tight end commit in their 2018 recruiting class, but are looking to add a couple this time around.
“I feel they are in need of tight ends,” Rae added. “They want 2 in my class.”
Alabama’s special team coach, Jeff Banks, has had continued communication with Rae. He expressed that all of their communication has been good.
Alabama is after this guy for many reasons. He is an impressive tight end that can be used in both the pass and run block game. At 6-feet-4-inches and 240 pounds, he uses his sizes to block for ball carriers and be a load in the open field when he has the ball in his hands.
TCU, Florida, Ole Miss, Oregon, USC, UCLA, Penn State, Colorado and Arizona State rounded out Rae’s top 10. Alabama’s will have to compete with two in-State schools in USC and UCLA and a handful of great programs to get a commitment from Rae. The Tide still have a chance to make a great impression on him as he plans to visit sometimes this Summer or during the season.
