2019 4-Star Safety, Demmarcco Hellams, has announced his commitment to Alabama. He shared his decision via Twitter.

Hellams is ranked as the No.4 safety in the nation. He is the second Maryland-native to commit to the Tide.
Hellams is a scrappy defender that jumps at any opportunity to force a turnover. He is very athletic, which enables him to play both wide out and free safety. Nick Saban has been known to try players out in different position, so don’t be surprised if he gets the chance to see some time on offense.
Alabama now has a total of three defensive back commits and all of them are 4-star recruits. This class could very well match up to Alabama’s impressive 2018 class of defensive backs.
The Crimson Tide is definitely in the running once again to take back their spot as the kings of recruiting and are currently ranked as No.1. Touchdown Alabama Magazine will keep you updated on everything about Alabama football.
