Have you ever wondered what goes on inside the Alabama football program? Fans do not get a chance to see what goes on behind the scenes for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide but now all fans can rejoice becasue there is now an opportunity to see behind the scenes of the national champion team. It was announced that ESPN2 would be airing a documentary about the Alabama program before the season begins. After the national championship in 2009 there was inside look into the Alabama program called Training Days: Rolling with the Tide. Oddly enough the new four-part documentary is also titled Training Days: Rolling with the Tide.
ESPN announced the news on July 23rd with the documentary series giving viewers the chance to see inside practices and closed door meetings. Fans will also get the chance to delve into the all-consuming effort of head coach Nick Saban, the assistant coaches and players as they prepare to defend their College Football Playoff National Championship. The series is divided into four episodes and will begin airing August 9th before being broadcast for the next three weeks on Wednesday nights. The first three episodes will air at 7 P.M. EST while the last episode will air at 10 P.M. EST. The series is being produced by JM Associates and Sport & Story and will air August 9th at 7 P.M. EST.
Alabama has become one of the powerhouses in college football since Saban’s arrival. Saban has a record of 127-20 in his eleven seasons as the head coach. With the documentary being produced it will allow fans to get an inside look at the dominant program of the past decade.
