A curveball was thrown in Tuesday’s weather forecast, as chilly conditions and a 65-degree temperature awaited Alabama football on the practice field. After hearing Tennessee athletic director Phillip Fulmer’s enticing chant for the Volunteers, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide look to make it twelve straight wins over its northern rival – dating back to the 2007 season.
Sophomore Tua Tagovailoa (knee) was at practice for a second consecutive day, tossing the ball around with his peers. During his interview with ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt on Monday Night Football, the native Hawaiian confirmed that he’s okay and that he feels “much better” for this weekend’s matchup with Tennessee versus the Tide’s homecoming game with Missouri.
It will be interesting to see how Saban chooses to monitor Tagovailoa at Neyland Stadium, but yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine does have observations from today’s practice.
