Alfano last visited Tuscaloosa in April, which was the visit that seal his recruitment up as he announced his verbal commitment to the Tide on May 18. The New Jersey product continues to have an amazing season. He is coming off a game where he recorded 6 Sacks, 7 Tackles for a Loss, 7 Tackles, 4 QB Hurries, and 9 Pancakes.
Alabama is lucky to have a commitment from Alfano. He was one of the top defensive lineman in the nation and has many Tide fans excited for his arrival, which will be Jan. 7. He knows Tuscaloosa is the best place for him.
“I always had a desire to be the best and to be the best you have to play with and train with the best,” Alfano said. “That is all Alabama does. They bring in the best players and the best competition. To beat the best you have to go against the best day and day out and go harder than you did the day before. ”
The Tide will have several big name targets on campus for the Iron Bowl.
