Alabama remains at the top of the college football playoff rankings in the second rankings of the season.

Clemson, Notre Dame, and Michigan rounded out the top four.

The Tide took down the LSU Tigers on Nov. 3 29-0. The Tigers were ranked No. 3 heading  into the matchup. They dropped to No. 7 after the loss.

“I think we played a pretty complete game today on both sides of the ball,” Nick Saban said in his post-game press conference. “To shut out this team is really a pretty significant accomplishment.”

Alabama is currently gearing up for their next SEC opponent, Mississippi State. The Bulldogs came in at No. 16 in this week’s ranking. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. central time. The game will be televised on CBS.
