Jah-Marien Latham received a long awaited offer from Alabama on Saturday.

Latham is a 2020 defensive tackle out of Reform, Alabama. He is a product of Pickens County High School. He has been waiting on this offer for some time now.

“It feels great,” Latham said. “I have been waiting on this offer all year and to finally receive it feels awesome.”

Alabama’s offensive coordinator, Mike Locksley, contacted Latham on Saturday to inform him that he received an offer from the Tide. This was huge news for a kid that grew up an Alabama fan. An opportunity to play for the Tide is a dream of his.

“It would mean a lot to me because that would be a dream come true,” Latham said.

The Pickens County product has 3 total offers now and Alabama claims the top spot.

“It puts Alabama at number one on my school list,” Latham said.

At 6-feet-3 -inches and 270 pounds, Latham is on pace to have the size to play at the next level. He also lines up on the offensive line and does some damage there.

Alabama’s former tightend, Michael Williams, is Latham’s head coach. Alabama would like to add Latham after he finishes his high school career under an Alabama product. Touchdown Alabama will keep you updated on Latham’s recruitment.
