“It has always been my dream school,” Latham said. “I’ve already visited 3 times, so I feel confident about my commitment.”
Alabama offered Latham on Saturday. This news came via Alabama’s offensive coordinator, Mike Locksley. Latham had been waiting on an offer from the Tide for a while.
“It feels great,” Latham told Touchdown Alabama on Sunday. “I have been waiting on this offer all year and to finally receive it feels awesome.”
Latham also went on to say that Alabama was his number one school on Sunday.
The 6-feet-3 -inches 270 pounder is on track to have the size to play at the next level. He also lines up on the offensive line and does some damage there.
The Tide did have some things working in their favor when they recruited Latham. The Pickens County product has always been an Alabama fan and the fact that his head coach is former Tide tight end, Michael Williams, was only a plus.
Alabama now has eight commits in its 2020 recruiting class.
