He will be one of multiple draft-eligible juniors with a decision to make after this season at the University of Alabama.
Anfernee Jennings has turned up his level of play since the matchup versus Louisiana State University (Nov. 3) and provided Alabama’s defense to be among the nation’s elite in every major category.
The 6-foot-3, 266-pound outside linebacker is responsible for 24 tackles – including five tackles for loss and two sacks in the last four games.
Jennings has also been credited with two pass breakups, one quarterback pressure, one interception, one fumble recovery and one touchdown during that time span.
In the Crimson Tide’s meetings with both Citadel and Auburn at home, the former four-star has devoured competition on the edge.

Jennings accounted for 16 total stops, with a team-high 11 tackles against the Bulldogs and totaled two tackles for loss, one sack, one quarterback pressure, one pass breakup, one interception, one fumble recovery and one touchdown.
He got the Tide’s defense back on track versus Citadel in returning a forced fumble 18 yards for a score.
The following week, Jennings recorded his first career interception – picking off Tigers’ quarterback Jarrett Stidham in the fourth quarter of a 52-21 win for Alabama.
Despite missing a couple of games last season because of an injury and being sideline for the College Football Playoff title game due to a serious knee issue, Jennings has looked fully healthy since the game at Baton Rouge, La.
He stands at 38 tackles through 12 games and has 8.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, five quarterback hurries and one touchdown. His size at the point of attack and speed off the edge make him an interesting prospect for National Football League scouts.
As teams start to define draft needs for next year, expect for Jennings to appear on numerous boards in result of his productivity. The idea of being a linchpin starter for a program that could potentially three-peat as national championships is enough to make a lot of players return; however, Jennings will have the final say on that. For now, he is focused on Georgia.
