“I would like to thank the University of Michigan for their love and support throughout this time of recruiting me,” Hill said via Twitter. “Thank you to all the coaches that took their time out to come see me play or reached out to make sure everything was well with my family and I. This was a tough decision for me and my family, but I have decided to de-commit from the University of Michigan and flip my commitment to the University of Alabama.”

Hill becomes the Tide’s 23rd commit in the 2019 class. This is the second player that Alabama has flipped coming down the stretch. The Tide flipped 4-Star ATH, Christian Harris, on Nov. 28.

Hill is the No. 1 safety in the 2019 class. He joins the Tide’s other 2019 defensive backs: Christian Williams, DeMarcco Hellams and Brandon Turnage.

Alabama is not done with defensive backs in the 2019 class as they continue their push for Noa Pola-Gates, Jordan Battle, Jeffery Carter and other targets.
