Alabama looks to strengthen the No. 1 ranked recruiting class on Wednesday. Here are some key targets Alabama will be watching make their decisions.
Keon Zipperer Tight End
Commitment Time: 11 a.m. hour
Channel: ESPN 2
Analysis: Zipperer has all the tools to be a great receiving tight end. He runs crisp routes and knows how to use his size to be a mismatch. His aggressiveness is also shown in the trenches on the defensive side as he sometimes lines up on the defensive line.
Trey Sanders Running Back
Commitment Time: 1 p.m. hour
Channel: ESPN U
Analysis: Sanders brings a combination of speed and power to the table. His 5’11” frame allows him to stay low to the ground and create a low center of gravity. This allows him to break tackles and run the ball hard. The tenacity that he runs the ball with allows him to run in between the tackles and grind out runs.
Nakobe Dean Linebacker
Commitment Time: 2 p.m. hour
Channel: ESPN U
Analysis: Dean is a 6-feet-2-inches 215-pounder that is very mobile and can play sideline to sideline. His speed and knowledge of the game allows him to attack plays early and effectively. He also has the ability to be an assett in the passing game.
Evan Neal Offensive Tackle
Commitment Time: 2 p.m. hour
Channel: ESPN U
Analysis: Neal stands at 6-feet-8-inches and weighs over 300 pounds. He rarely loses one on one battles and has impressive footwork, which helps him make his body wide to stop speedy defensive ends. He is also pretty good at blocking on the run as he leads the way for the No.1 running back in the nation and Alabama target, Trey Sanders.
DJ Williams Running Back
Commitment Time: 1 p.m. hour
Channel: N/A
Analysis: Williams is an agressive down the hill runner. He is difficult to tackle and is also very athletic. He lined up at quarterback during his senior year, which shows he is ready to contribute in any way he can.
