The Mississippi All-Stars took down the Alabama All-Stars 24-20 on Monday.
The Crimson Tide had four verbal commits in action along with several targets. Here is a break down of how they all faired.
*=Alabama Commit
*Will Reichard 2019 K
Reichard went 0-of-1 on field goal attempts. He missed a 41-yard field goal. He went 2-of-2 on extra points and pushed two kickoffs in the end zone for touchbacks. He also had a long punt of 53 yards. Reichard showed he has some room to improve on his consistancy, but he also showed he can be a weapon in multiple forms on special teams.

*Amari Kight 2019 OT
Kight did Kight type of things. He did not give up a sack and helped the Alabama Alll-Stars score three passing touchdowns with some great pass protections.
*Christian Williams 2019 DB
Williams was only tested once and that was when he gave up a deep ball to Mississippi State commit, Jarrian Jones. Other than that, he had a pretty solid game. The biggest takeaway from his performance was the way he came down hill to make tackles on runners, which showed he has no problem with making contact and helping in the run stop game.
*Byron Young 2019 DT
Young may have proven how much of a huge get he was for the Tide. He was constantly in on tackles and clogging up the holes alongside Mississippi State commit and Alabama target, Nathan Pickering.
Nakobe Dean 2019 ILB
Dean was able to show how he can use his quickness as a weapon in the run stop game as he made it difficult for the Alabama All-Stars to do anything productive on the ground. He looked good in pass coverage, but did not have to make many plays as most of Alabama’s passing attempts were deep or on the outside.

Nathan Pickering 2019 DT
It is easy to tell why Alabama is still recruiting Pickering hard. He is very athletic for a guy his size and he knows how to make sure his presence is felt on the field. It was easy to tell when he was on the sideline when Mississippi’s defense was on the field.
