The state of Alabama has proven that it knows how to make great football players and the Crimson Tide are reaping the benefits as 12 Alabama commits and signees made the 2018 ASWA All-State team.
All seven of Alabama’s in-state 2019 signees and commits made the All-American team in their respective classification. DJ Dale, Christian Williams, Taulia Tagovailoa, Pierce Quick, Amari Kight and Will Reichard received 1st team honors. Paul Tyson received second team honors after throwing for 33 touchdowns and leading the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies to a 7-3 season and to the second round of the playoffs.
The Tide’s 2020 class also made some noise by landing five commits on the All-State team. Malachi Moore, Jah-Marien Latham, Jackson Bratton and Roydell Williams receive first-team honors. Dazalin Worsham received second-team honors.
“It feels good to make first team,” Moore said. “last year I was on second team and that made me mad and I told myself I was gone be on the first team next year.”
