According to sources, Jacobs’ girlfriend gave birth on Thursday to Jacobs’ second child and was given an excused absence from the coaching staff.
Alabama football held its final practice indoors at Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Thursday, before it takes the plane to Santa Clara, Calif.
