He was hurt like the fan base was after seeing Alabama football fall to Clemson in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on last week; however, LaBryan Ray was very remorseful following his arrest on Saturday for public intoxication.
The rising junior defensive end posted an apology to fans on Twitter, expressing both his gratitude toward those who were concerned about him and vowing to learn from the mistake.
Thank you everyone that reached out to me in this time, im so thankful to have y’all in my life. Im beyond sorry for doing something like this. It unlike me to do something like this. To everyone that support me I know I let u down with this, and will do whatever is necessary

Hailing from Madison, Ala., Ray was a five-star prospect in the 2017 signing class and has become a fan favorite.
The 6-foot-5, 294-pound edge rusher collected six tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and two quarterback hurries through 15 games in 2018.

With the departures of Quinnen Williams and Isaiah Buggs, the product of James Clemons High School is expected to be a starter next fall.
Ray’s quick-twitched abilities and strong hands make him a nightmare for offensive linemen to keep from quarterbacks.
As is he ready to put the last game and extracurricular situation behind him, Tide nation is ready to see him succeed in 2019.
