Brett Seither announced his commitment to Georgia over Alabama on Wednesday.
Seither is a 3-Star tight end out of Clearwater, Florida,. Alabama offered Seither late in the recruitment process along with Georgia and some other schools. The Tide pulled out all of the stops for Seither by visiting him at home multiple times and getting him on campus.
It was uncertain whether Alabama was going to go after another tight end in the 2019 class after grabbing a signature from Jahleel Billingsley in the early signing period.
A late offer to Seither proved that Alabama wanted another tight end after Irv Smith declared for the NFL draft.
