Hill is a 2020 offensive lineman out of Olive Branch High School in Olive Branch, Mississippi. He has eight Division 1 offers and five of those are from SEC schools. His latest offer from the Tide left him emotional.
“It feels special,” Hill said. “I definitely felt this one.”
Nick Saban offered Hill in person during his visit.
The 2020 recruit attempted to take in everything the Tide had to offer on Saturday. He met several of the Tide’s current players, coaches, targets and commits. One thing was constant with everyone that was tied to Alabama football.
“I liked the people and the coaching staff,” Hill said. “It feels like one big family.”
Olive Branch High school used Hill at the tackle and guard position during his junior season. His tape shows he has everything a college coach looks for in a potential player, but his ability to get to the second level is impressive in itself. He does not stop after his runner gets past the line of scrimmage and it does not matter if someone lines in front of him or not. He always finds someone to block.
With the Tide handing out offers to nine 2020 recruits, their 2020 recruiting board is starting to take shape with some elite names hovering at the top. Hill should be in that mix as the Tide attempts to get him away from the grasp of Mississippi State and Ole Miss. Both have offered him.
