Cohen is an offensive tackle out of Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama,. Florida Atlantic and Louisville has also offered Cohen this month and has helped push his overall offer number to 22. The Phenix City-native said receiving an offer from the Tide was one of the best experiences of his life.

Nick Saban told Cohen he received an offer from Alabama in his office on Saturday. He discussed what he saw from Cohen on his highlight tape and some things he wants him to do to benefit his game.

“He told me that he likes how I play and my athleticism on tape and in person,” Cohen said. “He wants me to gain more weight, but I have an offer to play there.”

Alabama and their new offensive line coach, Kyle Flood, are starting to set up their 2020 offensive line board and the state of Alabama looks like it will be an area of focus as the Tide offered in-state recruits, Cohen and Brady Ward, on Saturday. This trend was seen in Alabama’s 2019 class as well with the Tide landing Pierce Quick and Amari Kight.

Cohen is expected to attend one of Nick Saban’s Football Camp’s this Summer and the Tide will have a chance to evaluate him more. On the recruiting front, He is keeping his options open at the moment and feels every team is on a level plain at this point.
