Doyle is a 2020 4-Star outside linebacker and is a product of Lutheran High School in Hazelwood, Missouri,. With Alabama’s offer, he now has 29 Division 1 offers. The success Doyle has enjoyed on the recruiting trail has him feeling like all of his dreams are right in front of him.
“I am blessed by God,” Doyle said. “Everything I ever wanted is in front of me, now I have to go get it.”
Saban spent some time talking to Doyle about his offer and what he could accomplish at Alabama. Doyle echoed the voices of so many other recruits when talking about how their conversation went.
“Our conversation was straight forward and about business.” Doyle said. “We talked about furthering my life.”
With offers from Georgia, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Oklahoma and LSU, there are a some top-tier programs in the hunt for Doyle. He plans to continue to give everyone a fair shake. He said he feels a school with a strong sense of teamwork is where he will feel most at home.
“I am looking for brotherhood and a life after football,” Doyle said.
4-Star linebacker, Jackson Bratton, is the only linebacker verbally committed to Alabama at the moment. They have their eyes on a few other potential linebackers as Doyle joins an impressive list of highly rated targets. He carries his own unique playing style as well.
He flies to the ball and has the ability to make tackles with great power as he stands at 6-4 and weighs 230 pounds. He knows the importance of protecting the edge at the outside linebacker position and not letting runners turn the corner as he can play sideline to sideline.
Alabama now has 14 commits in their 2020 recruiting class after landing De’Rickey Wright on Thursday. The Tide will continue to recruit Doyle to see if he is a good fit for their system.
