Grimes is a 5-Star defensive end in the 2020 recruiting class. He is a product of Mount Juliet High School in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and is the son of former Alabama defensive lineman, Reggie Grimes. He decided to released his top six schools on Monday due to some changes teams made on the recruiting trail.
