Former Alabama defensive lineman, Reggie Grimes, experienced the recruitment process firsthand en route to a memorable football career at the University of Alabama and beyond. But now, he has a chance to see the process through a different lens.

Grimes suited up for Alabama in the late 1990s. He was a part of the Crimson Tide’s 1999 SEC championship team and went on to play for the New England Patriots in 2000. His decision to come to Tuscaloosa was in large part due to his relationship with Gene Stallings, who he said he feels has similarities to Nick Saban.
