Alabama football has its second player off the board in the NFL Draft.
Following the Jets taking Quinnen Williams with the No. 3 overall pick, the Cincinnati Bengals chose to help its offensive line in selecting Jonah Williams at pick No. 11.
The 6-foot-4, 302-pounder started 44 career games at tackle – including 29 at left tackle.

Williams guided a unit that helped the Crimson Tide have the nation’s No. 3 scoring offense (45.6 ppg) and No. 6 total offense (522 ypg) last season, while it also posted college football’s best pass efficiency offense with a rating of 197.34. A California native, the former-five star did not allow a sack in 2018 and missed just three assignments in 920 snaps – grading out at 90 percent or better in 14 of 15 games. Williams anchored a front line that was eighth in the nation and first in the Southeastern Conference for fewest sacks allowed, surrendering one sack a game.
After helping Tua Tagovailoa become a consensus All-American and Heisman finalist as a sophomore, Williams now will help the Bengals keep quarterback Andy Dalton upright and provide balance on offense.
According to Spotrac, Williams is set to get $17.52 million for four years.
