Alabama keeps the offer train rolling by extending an offer to 2022 quarterback, Myles “MJ” Morris.

Morris is a 2022 quarterback out of Carrolton High School in Carrolton, Georgia,. He holds ten Division 1 offers after receiving offers from Alabama and Texas A&M this week. Alabama’s offer means a great deal to Morris after watching family friends, Chance and Dallas Warmack, suit up for the Tide.

“It means a lot to me because Chance and Dallas Warmack are like my big brothers,” Morris said. ‘My father and mother are really close to their mother. I grew up watching them play for Alabama.”

Alabama’s offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian informed Morris of his offer from the Tide and raved about his arm strength and quick feet. However, his conversation with Nick Saban had a totally different direction. The 67-year-old coach talked to Morris about life off the gridiron.

The Georgia product said Saban’s conversation was really informative.

“He told me to plant my feet and to be of value to my team and my community, wherever my feet are I need to be the best person I can be,” Morris said. “He also told me to focus on getting a good education and preparing for life after football.”

As a freshman, Morris made plays with both his feet and his arm. He is comfortable inside the pocket and keeps his composure when plays break down. He is also a tough runner and makes it hard for defenders to take him down when he gets into the open field.

Just like many other highly ranked recruits, Morris Summer is filled with recruiting plans as his offer list is expected to get much longer. He is expected to be in ACC country for the next week or so.

‘I am going to Duke, North Carolina and Wake Forrest this weekend,” Morris said. “I will go to Clemson on Tuesday.”

Alabama has only offered a handful of 2022 recruits. Getting on the Morris’ train early should be huge for the Tide as they will continue to stay in touch with the young quarterback and watch his development.
