Rising 2021 wide receiver, Jordyn Williams, breaks down Alabama offer

Jordyn Williams received his eight Division 1 offer from Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide on Saturday.

Williams is a 2021 prospect out of Westover High school in Albany, Georgia,. Tenessee, Colorado State and Northwestern State have all offered Williams this month also. The Georgia product said receiving an offer from the Tide made him feel like his hard work was paying dividends.

“It feels like all my hard work and dedication to the game has paid off,” Williams said.

Nick Saban told Williams he had an offer from the Tide in his office after camp. Saban spoke highly of Williams’ skill set during their conversation.

“It was basically a conversation about my skill set and how he would love for me to be there,” Williams said.

Westover was able to use Williams quick feet in open space during his sophomore season. Williams’ speed also allows him to cover ground quickly to gain yards after the catch.

Williams could see a boost in his recruitment with his newest offer from the Tide. The 2021 prospect said he could see himself playing in Tuscaloosa under Saban due to his familiarity with Alabama’s current players and the way Alabama’s program is structured.

“I could see myself playing there,” Williams said. “I fit in well with some of the players there and Coach Saban’s program is a lot like the one I am in at my local high school. I feel like I would slip in quite well.”

The Tide’s 2021 recruiting class has one verbal commitment in 4-Star defensive back, Latrell McCutchin. The Tide will most likely want to add on a couple of wideouts in their 2021 recruiting class after possibly landing a large group during the 2020 recruiting cycle.
