Earlier today Sporting News came out with their All-American team predictions for the 2019 season where it named seven Alabama players to make their lists. The tide had two players on the first team and five named to the second.
The two players named to the first team All-American team were junior wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and junior middle linebacker Dylan Moses. The next five were listed with the second team which was junior quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, junior offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, senior defensive end Raekwon Davis, redshirt senior outside linebacker Anfernee Jennings and junior safety Xavier McKinney.
Alabama led the way with the most players selected to both teams with the Clemson coming in second with five. But the Tigers did beat out the crimson tide with the most players named to the first team with three. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence, running back Travis Etienne and linebacker Isaiah Simmons were all named to the first team.
