Bus 71’s next stop will be back in Cinncinatti.
Earlier today NFL Networks’ Ian Rapoport, reported that the Cinncinatti Bengals will sign offensive tackle Andre Smith for a fourth stint with the team. The deal is reported to be for 1-year in hopes he provides some depth at the spot where first-round pick and fellow Alabama tackle Jonah Williams was expected to start before his injury.
Smith was selected with the sixth overall pick by the Bengals all the way back in 2009 and played with the team until 2015. In 2016 Smith played for the Vikings but would finish the year with Cincinnati.
In 2017 Smith signed with the Arizona Cardinals but would not complete the year with them for he again found his way back to the Bengals.
It’s safe to assume that there is something about the former Alabama tackle that the Bengals front office likes.
