According to Cecil Hurt, University of Alabama linebacker Eyabi Anoma is not currently enrolled in classes at the university. This news was confirmed by UA Associate Vice President for Communications, Monica Watts who told the Tuscaloosa news in a response to a query.
“Eyabi Anoma is currently not attending classes at The University of Alabama,” the statement said.
Even though UA has offered no further details, by rule if Anoma is not enrolled in classes then he will not be able to participate in any football activities. That means he will not be able to join practice which starts next week.
This is not the first time Anoma’s status has been cloudy at UA. Back in February he put his name into the transfer portal to only remove it one day later.
The Baltimore, MD native was one of the nations top recruits from the 2018 class and after a very productive spring was considered someone who would be seeing a lot of snaps in 2019.
