The Alabama quarterback has made another major award watch list.
It was announced on Wednesday that Heisman Trophy runner up Tua Tagovailoa has been selected to the Manning Award watch list. The Manning Award is given to the best quarterback at the end of the season. What is unique about this particular award is that it factors in the quarterbacks bowl game performance.
Tagovailoa is one of 30 other quarterbacks that are eyed to win the award.
The junior posted the most impressive season from a quarterback in Alabama history in 2018. He has the single season touchdown record with 43, the most passing’s yards in a season with 3,966 and has the fourth most completions in UA history.
Prior to that he had already cemented himself in the schools history by leading an improbable comeback against Georgia in the national title game.
This is now the fourth award watch list Tagovailoa has been added to.
Here’s the full list:

Davey O’Brien Award
