Alabama linebacker commit, Jackson Bratton, was awarded the Alabama High School Athletic Association Defensive Spotlight in week 3 for his performance against Hartselle High School on Friday.

Bratton had 15 tackles, 1 sack and 1 fumble recovery in Muscle shoals 35-14 win over Hartselle. The 4-Star linebacker also had a pass break up, which resulted in a pick-six after his teammate caught an interception off of the tipped pass.
This is not the first time Bratton has been a force for Muscle Shoals on defense this year. In the Trojan’s previous game against Columbia, Bratton returned a kickoff for a touchdown and helped Muscle Shoals’ defense force a shut out. Bratton told Touchdown Alabama in August, he is working on several parts of his game to get better each day.
“I am working on my speed most of all,” Bratton said. “I am also working on getting bigger, faster and stronger, just studying film week in and week out.”
A big season is in the work for Bratton as he continues to lead Muscle Shoals on the defensive side of the ball as their record currently sits at 4-0.
