Although he would be the first one to tell you he was disappointed in the outcome, Baltimore Ravens running back, Mark Ingram turned in an unbelievable performance in the team’s loss to the Chiefs.
After signing with the Ravens during the offseason, head coach John Harbaugh has made it a point to build the offense around the run game. And pairing Ingram with quarterback Lamar Jackson has shown to be quite the one-two punch out of the backfield.
The Chiefs defense was successful in keeping Jackson from really hurting them throughout the game. The second-year quarterback didn’t find his way in the endzone until late in the fourth quarter but it resulted in the team falling just short losing 33-28. But it was the former Alabama Heisman Trophy winner who kept Baltimore in the game.

Ingram was the only consistent part of the offense the entire game. He carried the ball 16 times for 103 yards and three rushing touchdowns with an average of 6.4 yards per carry. But it didn’t stop there for Ingram was also a big factor running routes out of the backfield catching four passes for 32 yards.
This was the second time in Ingram’s career where he found the endzone three times with the last triple touchdown performance coming back in week 10 of the 2017 season against the Buffalo Bills.
Even though the Ravens may have some issues moving the football through the air as the season continues, one thing is for certain. When in doubt give the ball to Mark Ingram however you can.
