Alabama lost an intense shootout against the LSU Tigers for their first loss of the season, 46-41, on Saturday.
Sometimes losses can impact how certain recruits look at a particular program, but to a couple of Alabama commits, it brought them closer to the team. The Tide’s 4-Star defensive back commit, Malachi Moore, said he felt like he played in the game.
“We did not play like ourselves and I am mad like I played in the game,” Moore said.
Alabama’s 4-Star athlete commit, Kristian Story, echoed that sentiment.
”I really felt that lost,” Story said.
This was a big recruiting weekend for Alabama as they hosted several highly ranked recruits, including most of their 2020 recruiting class. The build-up to Alabama – LSU had a lot to do with that and the game did not disappoint. The game was still in the air heading into the fourth quarter.
“I thought it was intense, couple of bad plays on Alabama’s part but it was a close and intriguing game,” Alabama’s 4-Star defensive back commit, Jahquez Robinson said.
There were also a couple of Alabama commits, who have marked this game on their calendar for next season, vowing the Tide will come out on top.
4-Star wide receiver and Alabama commit, Traeshon Holden, promised it will not happen again and the Tide’s 5-Star outside linebacker commit, Quandarrius Robinson, shared his agreement.
I PROMISE IT WON'T #RTR🐘 https://t.co/GpxD2DnCSl

It looks as if the Tide’s loss has not affected their verbal commits in a bad way as they are looking forward to making an impact and play a part in the next time the Tigers take on the Tide.
