Alabama continues to show they want athletic tight ends by extending an offer to 2021 recruit, Michael Trigg.

The Tide’s tight end coach, Jeff Banks, told Trigg about his offer on Monday night. Trigg now holds 12 Division 1 football offers and a basketball offer from USF. Trigg said the Tide’s offer made it hard to get rest.
“It is hard to explain the feeling,” Trigg said. “I was ecstatic. It was honestly hard to sleep after I found out.”
Trigg currently plays basketball and football for Seffner Christian Academy. At 6-4, the Florida product has gained interest from several Division 1 basketball programs.

“It would mean a lot to me to play both sports at the next level, It has always been a dream of mine,” Trigg added.
Alabama had Trigg on campus on Saturday for a game visit, which gave the 2021 prospect a chance to experience the atmosphere in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Despite the Tide losing, it was still a good visit for Trigg.
“It was crazy,” Trigg said. “I have never seen anything like it.”
During his junior season, Trigg was a weapon on both sides of the ball as he racked up 1,212 total yards and 14 touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball and added 22.5 tackles for loss as he rushed from the defensive end position. The Crusaders also used Trigg as a wildcat quarterback at times, showing they like to put the ball in his hands. Trigg helped lead Seffner to a 7-3 record on the season and they are set to play in the second round of the FHSAA football playoffs after beating Zephyrhills Christian on Friday, 35-6.
Trigg will continue to be a target for Alabama at the tight end position as it looks as if the tight end position will continue to be a priority for the Tide moving forward on the recruiting trail.
