Alabama will be without one player versus Mississippi State

Matthew Emmons - USA Today Sports

Nick Saban does not believe anyone is too cool for school.

As much as he enjoys winning on the field, he wants his players to also excel in the classroom and be accountable.

During his “Hey Coach” show on Thursday, Saban announced that one Alabama player will be suspended for this week’s game against Mississippi State. While he did not reveal a name, Saban did say the individual in question is being punished for ‘missing class.’

With the Crimson Tide on the outside of the College Football Playoff, it needs full cooperation from everyone.

No matter who the disciplined player is, the next man up must be prepared to help the Tide convincingly defeat the Bulldogs at Starkville, Miss.

Alabama will try to prove to the CFP committee on Saturday that it is still one of the top four best programs in the sport.
