Bill Belichick and Nick Saban were both apart of the legendary coaching staff with the Cleveland Browns back in the early 1990’s. Although the two have gone their separate ways since, both remain close friends and trade advice back and forth with each other.

“Bill is one of my best friends,” Saban said last week. “Having the opportunity to work with him in Cleveland was probably the most impactful thing to me, in terms of what I was able to learn, organizationally, how to run a program, how to run an organization, how to define the expectation for the people in the organization.
“He’s the best coach that I ever had the opportunity to spend time with.”
Between the two lies a grand total of 12 championships with both Belichick and Saban winning six in their respective leagues.
