Before everyone eats their body weight and and tries to smile through awkward conversations with in-laws check and see what the Alabama Crimson Tide will be up to on this Thanksgiving day.
In a bit of unfortunate timing the holiday falls on quite the important day as the team is right in the middle of preparing for its biggest game of the year against Auburn. With that being said head coach Nick Saban is still flipping around his teams schedule in order to accommodate for his players.

“Tomorrow we just move everything up an hour, so we get finished with practice an hour earlier and players can go someplace, either with their family if that’s possible of a lot of players come to my house,” said Saban during his weekly radio show.
The head coach has been known to always have an open door around the holidays for his players.
“I think we had 30 players at my house last year, and they go to the coaches’ houses,” said Saban. “But we make sure everybody’s got somewhere to have a great Thanksgiving dinner, and then we’ll have a team Thanksgiving dinner here on Thursday at noon when we sort of get done. On Friday when we get back to getting ready to go to Auburn.”
Even with all the playoff implications and other outside noise, the Crimson Tide still find time to appreciate the holidays and spend time with family and friends.
Alabama will over to Jordan-Hare Stadium to take on Auburn in the regular season finale on Saturday, Nov. 30. Kick off for the 84th Iron Bowl will be at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS.
