On Thursday, Alabama defensive lineman Raekwon Davis has accepted his invitation to play in the Senior Bowl.
Davis is the second member of the Crimson Tide to be headed to Mobile, AL on Jan. 25 as he will also be joining safety Jared Mayden.
The Meridian, Miss., product has is currently sixth on the team in tackles with 45, he also has reeled in three tackles for loss and a half-sack.

“He has been very good,” said head coach Nick Saban, “has worked hard certainly tried to set a good example for some of the young guys that are playing around him. I’ve been pleased with his effort… I think he has played a little more consistently this year than last year.”
Davis is one of six members of Alabama who are on the Senior Bowl watch list which includes Mayden, defensive backs Shyheim Carter, Trevon Diggs, linebacker Anfernee Jennings and offensive lineman Matt Womack.
